A message from our Head
We would like to welcome you to our school website. Watling Lower School and Forest Club is a caring, happy and increasingly successful, values-based community school. We recognise that all children are unique and have their own special gifts and talents.
We also know that children learn in many different ways, and we therefore teach using a variety of methods in order to help our children realise their full potential. Children are encouraged to become independent, enthusiastic and confident learners who are able to build successful relationships with others. Teachers plan and provide opportunities to work individually, in pairs or in groups, learning important skills such as listening, co-operating, negotiating and sharing with each other.
We believe in working in partnership with parents, and also see ourselves as part of the community, thus encouraging the children to understand and respect the needs of others, within the local environment and beyond. We are also a member of the Priory Learning Partnership of schools, which provides exclusive opportunities for adults and children to work and learn together.
We will do all that we can to ensure children are happy and make good progress at Watling Lower School and Forest Club and that there are many opportunities for parents and our community to share in the life and learning of the school.
We hope you find the information you need here, but please feel free to contact us via the contact page or directly by telephone.
